About the buyer
The Office of Communications (Ofcom) is the UK's communications regulator, covering broadcasting, telecoms, post and spectrum as a non-departmental public body. Competitions for its contracts usually run as an Invitation to Tender process, procured directly by Ofcom's own commercial team. Larger opportunities also typically route through Crown Commercial Service frameworks or frameworks hosted by public bodies.
Over the past 5 years, most of Ofcom's contract awards have been in business services, software and information systems and IT services.
