About the buyer
Greater Manchester Police is the territorial force for Greater Manchester's ten boroughs, covering Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan, and buys as a blue light body. The Mayor of Greater Manchester also serves as police and crime commissioner for the force. A Police, Fire and Crime Panel scrutinises how the mayor exercises these powers.
Over the past 5 years, most of Greater Manchester Police's contract awards have been in software and information systems, IT services and office and computing equipment.
