About the buyer
Meath County Council is the local authority for County Meath. Procurement across the council is largely devolved to individual departments. A central Procurement Unit guides and supports those departments on compliance and value for money. The council uses Office of Government Procurement frameworks where they offer value for money. The council also sets up its own single-party and multi-party frameworks, mostly for consultancy and design teams.
Over the past 5 years, most of Meath County Council's contract awards have been in architectural and engineering services, construction work and business services.
