About the buyer
Kerry Education and Training Board is an Irish education and training board based in Tralee, and buys as an education body. A Centralised Procurement and Purchasing Unit is responsible for all procurement and purchasing. National frameworks and a Kerry ETB framework are used first. A request to quote goes to suitable suppliers when no framework fits. ICT equipment and capital works are handled by the Technology, Estates and Sustainability department. Suppliers can introduce their organisation and their goods or services to the purchasing unit by email.
Over the past 5 years, most of Kerry Education and Training Board's contract awards have been in hotel, catering and retail.
