About the buyer
The Cabinet Office is a central government ministerial department that supports the Prime Minister, with its own commercial teams handling procurement. Much of its procurement runs through framework agreements, including those set up by the Crown Commercial Service. The department publishes targeted actions to increase its business with small and medium-sized enterprises. Central commercial teams based here combined with the Crown Commercial Service in 2026 to form the Government Commercial Agency.
Over the past 5 years, most of the Cabinet Office's contract awards have been in IT services, business services and software and information systems.
