Tender description
NHS Workforce, Training & Education Directorate’s New Ways of Working in Mental Health supports the delivery against public policy of the NHS Long Term Plan (January 2019) and the NHS Mental Health Implementation Plan (July 2019) ambitions by ensuring the sustainability of a robust, diverse and capable workforce. In 2019, HEE recognised the vital role of social work in the NHS through improvement initiatives to strengthen its impact and enable new ways of working ( see Social workers | Health Education England (hee.nhs.uk) ) Personalised care requires significant network, system and workforce innovation to meet expectations in the Long Term Plan; of personalised care & support planning as a robust replacement to the Care Programme Approach within the Community MH Transformation plan, and; specific expectations of the uptake of personal health budgets as specified in the NHS England » Guidance on the legal rights to have personal health budgets and personal wheelchair budgets.
