About the buyer
Devon & Cornwall Police is a blue light force serving Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and buys through a shared regional procurement team. The Southwest Police Procurement Department runs strategic sourcing above a set contract value across four forces, Devon & Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Purchases below that threshold stay with each force's local procurement team. A joint Senior Category Buyer role spans both Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police.
Over the past 5 years, most of Devon & Cornwall Police's contract awards have been in software and information systems, public administration and defence and fuel and energy.
