About the buyer
Forestry England is an executive agency of the Forestry Commission, and buys as a central government body responsible for England's public forest estate. Crown Commercial Service frameworks are used for suitable purchases. A Dynamic Purchasing System stays open to new suppliers for tree planting, fencing and wildlife management work. Forestry England works with more than five hundred partners, from national timber companies to local sawmills.
Over the past 5 years, most of Forestry England's contract awards have been in electrical equipment and lighting, hotel, catering and retail and agricultural and horticultural services.
