Tender description
The works briefly comprise: • Saw cut and break out carriageway, footway/verge to reveal existing waterproofing and buried joint. • Works to be carried out in phases to minimise traffic disruption. • Remove existing joint and Prepare surface to receive a new Thormajoint BJ 200ST Type 2 Asphalt Plug Joint. • Install new Thormajoint BJ 200ST Type 2 Asphalt Plug Joint, to include a skid resistant dressing stone 1.4-2mm. • Reinstate carriageway, footway/verge and any affected road markings. • Remove existing polysulphide sealant to bridge edge beams and replace with new polysulphide sealant. • Due to the location, the works will need to be carried out between 19:00 - 07:00
