Pwrpas y comisiwn hwn yw ymchwilio a mapio opsiynau i greu profiadau rhithiol o fewn Safle Treftadaeth y Byd Tirwedd Llechi Gogledd Orllewin Cymru dros gyfnod o 5 mlynedd. Er y dylai’r strategaeth gynnwys argymhellion trosfwaol ar gyfer STyB yn ei gyfanrwydd, bydd cyllideb benodol (gweler y briff) ar gyfer gweithredu’r argymhellion mwyaf perthnasol a’r flaenoriaeth uchaf fel rhan o brosiect Cronfa Dreftadaeth y Loteri Genedlaethol Cyngor Gwynedd: 'Prosiect STyB Llechi Cymru: ein dynodiad, ein balchder, ein dyfodol'.
