Tender description
The containers should be enclosed and with lifting openings that Limerick City and County Council can manually operate. Compacting containers may be proposed for “black bag waste/small items” with open containers for bulky waste not suitable for the compacting container. The Contractor will be required to ensure the containers are emptied weekly and to provide an onsite capacity of a minimum of 40 tonnes. The contractor will also be required to the provide the following containers for the collection of dry recyclables, 35 cubic yard compactor skip for cardboard, 35 cubic yard compactor skip for plastic bottles,16 cubic yard skip with dispensing slots for tetra packs and 16 cubic yard skip with dispensing slots for newspapers/magazines.
