About the buyer

North Devon District Council is a local authority serving Barnstaple and the wider North Devon district. Higher-value processes can include a Suitability Questionnaire stage before an Invitation to Tender is issued. The council buys collaboratively through the Devon Procurement Partnership, working with Devon authorities, police and fire services on shared contracts and framework agreements. The Procurement Team, based within Legal Services, manages the council's procurement function.

Over the past 5 years, most of North Devon District Council's contract awards have been in construction work, health and social work and software and information systems.
