About the buyer
The Pension Protection Fund protects members of defined benefit pension schemes across the UK, and buys as a central organisation. Public sector framework agreements are used where appropriate for goods and services. Contracts follow standard terms made up of an order form and core terms, with addendums covering information security, modern slavery and data protection. Nine specialist panels and frameworks support its assessment work, from legal to audit and actuarial services.
Over the past 5 years, most of the Pension Protection Fund's contract awards have been in IT services, business services and software and information systems.
