Tender description

CPI is seeking suppliers of a confocal laser scanning microscope with multiphoton capability and fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) for biological and nano-material characterisation. The equipment should be modular and flexible in design to accommodate various light sources and detectors in the visible to near infrared wavelength range. In addition CPI would like to purchase a high performance fluorescence spectrometer to measure parameters such as photoluminescence intensity, lifetime and quantum yield of fluorophores. There must be a provision to couple the confocal microscope and fluorescence spectrometer effectively and share the associated light sources/detectors for advanced time-resolved applications giving access to a whole new dimension of information. An excellent integration between the hardware and software of individual systems, which will allow both standalone and combined mode of operation for the above instruments under a common software control program.
