Mobile CT Scanner for Examining Heads

Description

The contracting authority shall enter into a purchase contract for a mobile (transportable) CT scanner for examining heads. Lot 1: The mobile CT will be used for taking CTs of patients' heads, which, for various reasons, cannot or should not be moved. The following problems are relevant: — intracranial bleeding (SAH, EDH, ICH, SDH), — vessel malformations, aneurisms, embolisms including air embolism, sinus thromboses, vessel spasms, and raised intracranial circulation, — checks after head trauma, including skeleton, parenchyma injury, bleeding, swelling, and infarction, — brain infarcts, hypoxic brain injury, hydrocephalus, brain swelling, herniation, and space in the brain, — intracranial infections and inflammations, — checks after brain surgery and procedures such as drainage insertions, coiling, clips, removal of haematoma and bone patches, etc. — check of and post surgery for bleeding, parenchyma injury, skeleton and cartilage injuries and infection/inflammation in the orbita, mouth, airway, face, and neck, including tooth root abscesses and other abscesses in the mouth and neck region. The CT machine must be easy to transport, as it will be transported between departments (INT, BSA, TIO, MIO, NOVA) through, amongst other things, doors and in and out of lifts.
