HS2 Route-wide Framework (Pre-Procurement Market Engagement)

High Speed Two (HS2) Limited (‘HS2 Ltd’) is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway known as High Speed Two (‘HS2’). This Periodic Indicative Notice ('PIN') relates to the forthcoming procurement for the HS2 Route-wide Framework which will cover all of the HS2 route. This PIN is to alert suppliers that HS2 Ltd intends to commence pre-procurement market engagement, to support the proposed procurement in 2024. Initial packages of works relate to Phase One and will cover works across the trace, this includes but is not limited to, civils works, environmental works, construction of permanent and temporary assets (roads, buildings, fencing), maintenance works, rail systems enabling scope, MEP scope and noise barriers. Future packages may contain works that are required for integration between civils and rail systems contracts and/or station contracts. The indicative value range of these works is £500m to £600m. Pre-procurement market engagement documents will be made available by HS2 Ltd to registered suppliers and will include supplemental information on specific elements of the emerging procurement and delivery strategy.
