Description
EKFB seek EOI's from interested parties for the supply of a portable unit which can act as an acoustic deterrent at a frequency range of 20kHz - 100kHz to deter bats. The unit is to have the ability to communicate if it is functional or not, as well as programmed to operate during a fixed time period. Unit to be effective to a minimum range of 20m. Anticipated number ~10no. units but to be agreed with supplier (to supply for 120 year working life). EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
