Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)

Description

We have changed our name to Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC). You may see references to both Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC) and HI NENC. Our change of name does not affect any currently registered suppliers, however, our Terms and Conditions have been updated to reflect this and must be agreed to prior to bidding for any future competitions. HI NENC is one of 15 health innovation networks across England which were created in 2013, as AHSN’s originally, in response to the Accelerated Access Review. Health Innovation Networks act as the interface between Industry, Academia and the NHS to support the adoption and spread of innovation at pace and scale, which in turn improves patient outcomes and generates economic growth. HI NENC uses “The Innovation Pathway” https://healthinnovationnenc.org.uk/what-we-do/innovation-pathway/ as the model to support innovators, from conceptualisation of their idea, through to its development, evaluation and adoption and spread by the health and care system. HI NENC co-ordinates delivery of this support by commissioning the most appropriate partner with the necessary specialist expertise, and many of these partners offer multiple services across the pathway. Due to the diverse and variable nature of the requirements, this has resulted in the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to ensure an open, transparent, and competitive process for procuring services, and ensure compliance with Procurement Regulations. The DPS will consist of five lots covering the anticipated range of services. These are: 1. Idea Assessment 2. Idea Development 3. Evaluation services 4. Commercialisation, Adoption and Spread. 5.
