Celynen Collieries Institute & Memorial Hall, operating as Newbridge Memo, is seeking to appoint an experienced Hospitality Redevelopment Consultant to support the development phase of Memo: Inherit & Inspire, a National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported project. The consultant will lead the feasibility, consultation, options appraisal and delivery-stage planning for Memo Kitchen & Co: a proposed inclusive food heritage, hospitality training and community catering hub within Newbridge Memo. The work will inform the Memo’s future delivery-phase application and support the development of a practical, costed and sustainable model for redeveloping the existing kitchen and hospitality spaces. The commission will need to balance social impact, earned income, heritage sensitivity, accessibility, environmental sustainability, training opportunities and long-term organisational resilience.
