PS/2023/038 Grounds Maintenance

Description

Maldon District Council manage three cemeteries within the district. These are:  1.Maldon - London Road, Maldon CM9 6LJ (12.3-acre site)  2.Heybridge – Goldhanger Road, Heybridge, CM9 4QR (4.2-acre site)  3.Burnham on Crouch – Southminster Road, Burnham on Crouch, CM0 8QE (5.9-acre site)  All three cemeteries have traditional lawn sections and Gardens of Remembrance. Maldon and Burnham on Crouch also have natural burial areas where the grass is cut less frequently. Access to all sites is available during normal opening hours Monday to Sunday 08:00 – sunset or 20:00.   Maldon District Council are looking for a contractor for a three-year fixed term contract with the option of a one-year extension to provide a grounds maintenance service for all three of our cemeteries. The services will cover all aspects of grass cutting, hedge trimming, general grounds maintenance and weeding of the cremation beds and shrub beds.
