Complex and Live in Care - Continuing Packages of Care

The ICB has recently commissioned a new Complex and live in Care framework. This procurement relates to a small number of providers, not currently on this framework but who already have Devon patients under their care. Following a clinical review of these patients a contract has been awarded to ensure continuous care and ensure no detrimental impact on patients. Lot 1: NHS Devon sought to continue with specific packages of care for individuals with 9 providers via short term Direct Award. The services are complex care and live in care, these are long standing packages and following clinical review it was deemed it would be detrimental to patients to move the care to a new provider. Price is based on a per week price for the specific needs identified. The contracts will cover continuing care of existing patients only and will end no later than 31/03/2027 on the basis of a 6 month contract with 6 month extension option.
