Two Frontline Emergency Ambulances
Published
Buyer
Description
The St John Ambulance and Rescue Service (SJARS) is contracted by the States of Guernsey to provide an emergency ambulance service. There is a close affiliation with Health and Social Care (HSC) and the Committee for Home Affairs of the States of Guernsey. The SJARS is looking to replace two frontline emergency ambulances with new vehicles that meet the needs of a modern Ambulance Service and a small Island environment. The SJARS require the build of the ambulances to be capable of performing for the next 8 years. This time period is specified to ensure that a high clinical standard can be maintained for the lifetime of the vehicle. It is anticipated that the tender award will be decided by Monday 1 July 2024, to allow design, production and delivery of the ambulances to SJARS by 28 February 2025.
