IDA Ireland uses a number of technology systems to support this currently and wishes to modernise those systems as part of their Digital strategy. There are primary goals to leverage technology in support of lead generation, sales process management, contracting, account management and servicing, using information to drive business processes and providing valuable digital services to the IDA’s staff, prospects and customers. This market sounding exercise is intended to: • help the IDA to understand the relevant products/solutions in the market, • provide an understanding of vendor approaches to systems of this nature, • highlight opportunities for using technology to best effect, • understand capital and operational costs. The IDA would like to hear from vendors who have relevant product offerings and experience implementing systems aligned with the future vision outlined below in this market sounding. IDA Ireland operates under the aegis of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Its strategic remit is to win Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and see the benefits flow as widely as possible in economic terms throughout Ireland. • IDA Ireland is a globally leading Investment Promotion and Development Agency (IPDA) and has developed a strong national competency in attracting FDI to Ireland. • IDA Ireland has client engagements across all geographies, attracting client companies to Ireland from the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. • IDA Ireland continues to attract FDI investors to establish operations in Ireland and these client companies require ease of access to all major international markets. At its core IDA Ireland must promote and sell Ireland to foreign investors and subsequently manage the relationship and account through its full lifecycle.
