ISW025F - Request for Information - Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of Backup, Replication and Disaster Recovery Software and Associated Reseller Services

A number of Public Service Bodies (PSBs) have backup solutions and procure new and additional backup software and licensing and associated reseller services on an individual or aggregated basis through OSMs or channel partners. The OGP estimates that the public service will spend in the region of €6,600,000 in relation to on premises backup software and associated reseller services over the lifetime of a central arrangement. Due to the considerable level of expenditure in this area the OGP has decided, (in line with its mandate to establish central procurement arrangements), to put in place a national Framework Agreement (to replace the existing national Framework which is due to expire in April 2025). The new Framework will provide ease of access to public service bodies who require the services covered within the scope of the proposed Framework. The OGP intends to run a competitive procurement process for the establishment of a Multi Supplier Framework for the provision of Backup, Replication and Disaster Recovery Software and Associated Reseller Services in 2024. This will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement available for use by public sector bodies . As part of this process the OGP wishes to take market soundings to identify market capabilities, supply cost factor and general market dynamics. Our aim is to establish a fit for purpose whole-of-government Framework Agreement for the provision of Backup, Replication and Disaster Recovery Software and Associated Reseller Services for the proposed term 2025 to 2029.
