Provision of home and community-based care and support services under SDS Option 3

Description

Angus Council and the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have reviewed the current Framework Agreement for the provision of personal care and housing support (including home-based respite services) under SDS Option 3 within the homes of supported people in Angus. This procurement exercise is to establish a new framework. This is an opportunity for providers to tender for various Lots within the new framework. Lot 2: Adult Services under 65 – Adult LD, Adult Mental Health and Substance Misuse and Adult PD South Adults aged 16 and over who have a diagnosed learning disability and who require support with a variety of needs within their home and in the community. Adults aged 16 and over who have mental health and/or substance misuse issues and who require support with a variety of needs within their home and in the community. Mostly housing support but with some personal care requirements as necessary. Adults aged 16 and over who have a physical disability or acquired brain injury and who require support with personal care and/or non-personal care within their home and in the community. Additional information: Number of Providers required for Lot 2 = Two Lot 3: Adult Learning Disabilities Complex Needs (incl Adult Autism) This relates to Adult service users aged 16 – 64 who present with significant challenging behaviour and/or complex autism. This support requires well experienced staff who are appropriately trained and skilled in managing individuals with very complex needs within their home and the community.
