The purpose of this Electrical condition survey is to confirm, so far as reasonably practical, whether or not the electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition for continued service. The report should identify any damage, deterioration, defect and/or any conditions that may give rise to dangerThe successful contractor shall carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Survey (periodic testing and inspection) in accordance with the BS 7671:2018 and the inspection and testing guidance note 3.All circuits (100%), from all Section boards, Panel boards and distribution boards, must be electrically tested, and recorded on the electrical Installation condition report.The electrical contractor shall also carry out a thorough visual inspection including a check on the condition of all the electrical equipment and material with regard to:• Safety• Wear and tear• Corrosion• Damage• Excessive loading• Age• External influences• Suitabilityat our Newport Campus
