Published

Description

The Road Management Office (RMO), is a Local Authority shared service which, amongst other operational objectives, assists and supports local authorities with the procurement of surveys to collect various datasets on transport assets in Ireland, including but not limited to the Regional and Local Road Networks. To facilitate the continued capture of road condition data on the Regional Road Network and following on from previous Regional Road Surveys and Reports, the RMO requires Machine Road Condition Survey, Data Analysis and Reporting Services to be carried out on the Network in 2024. The Regional Road Network consists of 13,393km of single carriageway road of varying width with some dual carriageway sections. The RMO requires the service provider to provide the following services in 2024: • Carry out a Pavement Condition Survey on the Regional Road Network in compliance with specification. • Prepare a Regional Road Condition Assessment Report. It is anticipated that the data capture shall commence in Q2 of 2024 with the resulting report following on in the latter half of the year. Please refer to the general Requirements and specification document for further details on the extent of the survey, quality control measures, progress reporting, presentation requirements and the collection of data using machine and visual techniques.
