Published

Description

1. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (“PCNPA”) wish to commission work to develop educational resources for the Designated Landscapes of Wales (Priorities for Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Parks 2018 (valued and resilient) | GOV.WALES). 2. PCNPA is the project lead for the Wales Designated Landscapes Learning Resources Project, funded through the Sustainable Landscapes, Sustainable Places fund. Our project partners are: • Anglesey AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) • Clwydian Range & Dee Valley AONB • Gower AONB • Llyn Peninsula AONB • Wye Valley AONB • Brecon Beacons National Park • Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park 3. The resources produced will address themes and topics relating to Wales Designated Landscapes and be relevant to the requirements of the new Curriculum for Wales. 4. The resources must be co-produced in collaboration with groups of teachers and the project partners identified above. 5. The resources should be accessible to the learning community to support learning and promote understanding, appreciation and stewardship of Designated Landscapes. 6. We anticipate the resources produced to be available in digital formats and where possible to ‘enhance digital inclusion for learners’. * The partnership is seeking to appoint a consultant as part of a separate tender to support the design and digital elements of the work. 7. The resources need to be distinct and make best use of what is available from other organisations and national networks by linking and reference. 8. The work needs to be produced and published in Welsh and English and additionally encourage and facilitate the use of Welsh language. Some of the co-production work highlighted will need to be conducted in Welsh 9. Up to £80,000, exclusive of VAT, is available for the work. 10. The project is due to be completed by the end of March 2025, with the work programme spread across the delivery period to an agreed timesca
