Procurement for the management of the Councils operational IT environment, this includes the Council’s physical and digital infrastructure, it’s software and the associated services. The IT environment is all the Councils means of using Information Technology to facilitate the Council’s employees delivering services, and residents to access services. Management of the environment includes: Provision of Support Desk and End User Support – being a single point of contact for Council staff to manage their requests and IT issues. Device Lifecycle Management – ensuring devices employed by Council staff are safe, secure and fit for purpose. Service Management – Ensuring incidents are triaged and resolved appropriately to enable the Council to continue to effect its wider objectives. Application Support – ensuring the Council is able to access the applications it needs to deliver services. Infrastructure, LAN and Wi-Fi – Manage, maintain and improve the existing infrastructure, and the LAN and Wi-Fi. Administration and lifecycle management of the IT environment – the Cloud environment, on-premise environment. Security, ensuring our applications and systems are secure and access is controlled Supporting the Technical and Service Design of the IT service and provide associated Project Management capabilities to realise the benefits of proposed changes.
