Market Sounding for the Provision of a Common Data Environment (CDE)

Published

Description

Sport Ireland are considering going to tender for the provision of a Common Data Environment (CDE) for the purposes of development of the campus masterplan and associated construction projects. Sport Ireland wishes to conduct market soundings with service providers who would be interested in such a tender process. In December 2020 Sport Ireland completed the first phase of a masterplanning process that provided a framework for the onward development of the 520 acre Sport Ireland campus in Blanchardstown Dublin 15. The masterplan document sets out a 15-year development plan, with the buildings highlighted in this document representing our immediate requirements. To progress our plans, Sport Ireland requires a Common Data Environment to assist the project management of delivering the vision, values and objectives set out in this ambitious masterplan. The Common Data Environment will be required to facilitate information and project management across all development projects and provide an information interface for various contractors, consultants and the client. It is expected that in the coming years, there will be multiple large scale projects in the campus. Mainly, a sports hotel, cricket stadium, velodrome, and the regeneration of Abbotstown House. Furthermore, there will be multiple ancillary projects, such as infrastructure developments, accommodation based projects, and modifications to existing buildings.
