Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust are looking to establish a framework of contractors for major works contracts within the UK. The framework will cover projects with a minimum value of 5 000 000 GBP including, but is not limited to: new builds, extensions, refurbishments, housing builds, multi-complex builds, works covering the railway industry, etc. The procurement will be a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 open procedure. The framework agreement will be established for a period of 4 years from April 2020, with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of up to 1 year each at the discretion of the contracting authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The framework will be split in to 3 separate lots, which will operate with a maximum of 9 contractors per region per lot. This framework agreement is being advertised and tendered, so it can be utilised by all Public-sector bodies, including Charities in the UK. This lot is for projects between 5 000 000 GBP and 14 999 999 GBP. The works covered by this lot shall include, but not be limited to: demolition, site preparation and clearance work excavating and earthmoving work siteworks test drilling work test boring work construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture, lodging and restaurants construction work for commercial buildings, warehouses and industrial buildings, buildings relating to transport construction work for buildings relating to education and research construction work for buildings relating to health and social services, for crematoriums and public conveniences construction work for buildings relating to law and order or emergency services and for military buildings construction work for bridges and tunnels, shafts and subways construction work for engineering works except bridges, tunnels, shafts and subways structures construction work construction work for pipelines, communication and power lines ancillary works for pipelines and cables construction, foundation and surface works for highways, roads construction work for railways and cable transport systems construction work for airfields, runways and manoeuvring surfaces Flatwork Harbour construction works waterside leisure facilities construction work Coastal-defence works marine construction works dredging and pumping works for water treatment plant installations river regulation and flood control works construction work for dams, canals, irrigation channels and aqueducts construction work for hydro-mechanical structures construction works for power plants and heating plants construction works for sewage treatment plants, purification plants and refuse incineration plants construction work for chemical-processing plant construction work for mining and manufacturing construction work for the oil and gas industry.
