Karmøy municipality has completed a competition for general concession contracts for the provision of assistance hours in the scheme user-controlled personal assistance for users in Karmøy municipality. A general service concession contract has been signed with 13 tenderers. The concessionaires will not be guaranteed any assignments as this depends on the users´ choice of BPA provider in each individual case. The general service concession contracts will be valid for 4 years from when they are signed, with an option for the licensor to extend the contract for a further 2 years. The estimated value of the procurement is calculated to be between 107 357 550 NOK and 210 375 000 NOK excluding VAT over 6 years (4 year contract period with an option for the Contracting Authority to extend for a further 2 years, cf. the concession basis point 1.9.1).
