Description
The contracting authority requests tenders for the provision of 11 respite care weekends and 1 respite care week a year for users such as children, adolescents, and young adults with various types of reduced cognitive functional ability. Respite care offer/trips for an estimated 9-12 persons with a need for light help and/or supervision, who, for example, do not need practical help follow-up for personal hygiene. 2. Respite care offer/trips for an estimated 9-12 persons, most with mental handicaps, who require more help than those in group 1, including a need for help with personal hygiene. 3. Respite care/trips for an estimated 6-9 persons aged 9-12 years. The need for supervision and help can vary, this primarily depends on age. The number of persons can vary during the contract period. The tenderer is to submit an invoice for the number of participants, but can, regardless of the number, invoice for 9 participants in groups 1 and 2 and for 6 participants in group 3. The respite care/trips must take place over one weekend (two days) per month, 11 months a year. The offer is to start on Friday at approx. 17.00 and last until Sunday afternoon, approx. 17.00. In addition to the weekend trips, a 6 day trip must take place in July. The respite care offer must primarily see to parents' need for respite care. They must also give participants the chance to socialise. Participants must be offered breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an evening snack. In addition participants must give necessary practical and personal assistance with personal hygiene, toilet, and dressing. Otherwise there are no strict guidelines for the content of the offer. The tenderer will be able to charge users an individual share of NOK 450 per respite care offer if there are activities that have to be paid for. There is no requirement to use paid activities during the respite care. Tenderers must write a realistic solution proposal that will form the basis for parts of the evaluation of the tenderer (see 'Award Criteria'). PUFF (Postive Ungdom Fremover i Fellesskap) currently run the respite care service. The contract with Filadelfia expires on 31.05.23, which means that the new contract will be valid from 01.06.23.
