Hanover Scotland is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care, support, and hospitality within its Very Sheltered Developments across the central belt of Scotland. To achieve this, we recognize the critical importance of reliable, qualified, and compassionate agency staff who can support catering, domestic, and care services in a way that upholds our values of dignity, respect, and quality of service for residents. This proposal sets out our framework for the supply of agency staff in catering, domestic, and support roles, designed to meet both planned and emergency staffing requirements. It demonstrates our capability to provide a responsive, cost-effective, and sustainable staffing solution that ensures continuity of service, compliance with regulatory standards, and a positive experience for residents and staff alike. Lot 1: Support Workers (SVQ2 Health & Social Care or equivalent) This proposal sets out our framework for the supply of agency staff in catering, domestic, and support roles, designed to meet both planned and emergency staffing requirements. It demonstrates our capability to provide a responsive, cost-effective, and sustainable staffing solution that ensures continuity of service, compliance with regulatory standards, and a positive experience for residents and staff alike. The proposed service will provide Hanover Scotland with a flexible, high-quality staffing solution for catering, domestic, and support roles, covering: Regular staffing for catering- preparing and serving meals, maintaining food hygiene standards, stock rotation, and menu compliance. Assisting in food preparation, serving meals and maintaining kitchen hygiene, following Hanover cook safe food management system. Domestic – Maintaining high standard of cleanliness, infection control across communal and residential area, following COSHH standard. Support Workers- Assisting resident with daily living, promoting independence, wellbeing, dignity and ensuring person centre care is in line with Hanover’s care standards. The developments covered are all different and may have existing features such as large/small areas. The final contract will have all the above noted in the tender documents; however, Hanover reserve the right to limit the scope pending tender value returns. Considering the value of the Lots and the intended timescales for delivery of these projects, bidders may apply for all lots.. The service will operate within a framework of continuous improvement with which the service provider will be required to engage; bringing innovation, sharing ideas, and implementing improvement measures to increase operational effectiveness/efficiency and drive out waste. Lot 2: Domestic/Cleaning Staff (COSSHH Trained) This proposal sets out our framework for the supply of agency staff in catering, domestic, and support roles, designed to meet both planned and emergency staffing requirements. It demonstrates our capability to provide a responsive, cost-effective, and sustainable staffing solution that ensures continuity of service, compliance with regulatory standards, and a positive experience for residents and staff alike.
