Alternative Therapy

In line with the principles of ‘The Promise’, Family Support Hubs have been set up in South Lanarkshire to provide families with accessible, holistic support from Children and Families Social Work. As part of this offer of support to families, the Council will be offering beauty and holistic therapy sessions to parents, carers and young people. These sessions are an opportunity for service users to relax and unwind from the pressures of family life. The Council requires a person trained in a range of beauty and holistic beauty therapy sessions to offer these treatments from the Hamilton Family Support Hub on a Tuesday and Wednesday, and the East Kilbride Family Support Hub on a Thursday. This will be on a term-time basis.
