Cardiff Council Social Services and the Vale of Glamorgan Council Social Services Departments are commissioning Independent Professional Advocacy services across the region to: Adopt a systemic co-productive approach with all stakeholders across the region. Form purposeful, collaborative relationships between local authorities, health boards, Providers and the people who use the services. Share common understanding of what advocacy is and the specific role of Independent Professional Advocacy (IPA). Share a common agreement about when Independent Professional Advocacy is appropriate and always considering its accessibility and application alongside other forms of advocacy. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Cardiff Council - IPA for older adults aged 55 and over Cardiff Council Social Services and the Vale of Glamorgan Council Social Services Departments are commissioning Independent Professional Advocacy services across the region to: Adopt a systemic co-productive approach with all stakeholders across the region. The service will be provided across three Lots for The Vale of Glamorgan: Lot 3 - IPA for older adults aged 55 and over, including care home advocacy. Lot 4 - IPA for adults aged 18 and over living with learning disabilities including autism. Lot 5 - IPA for all other adults with care and support needs.
