Provision of All Asbestos Requirements Works – Surveying, Removals, and Air Monitoring – For All Hull City Council Buildings

Hull City Council is seeking bids from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to undertake the works required in regards to asbestos. This contract is ‘split’ in to three distinct LOTS. These are:- - LOT 1 – Air Monitoring (Asbestos Project Management, Air Monitoring, & Clearance Air Testing) - LOT 2 – Removal of asbestos (Asbestos Abatement for Demolition, Refurbishment & Maintenance Projects) - LOT 3 – Surveying (Asbestos Management Surveys, Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys, and Bulk Sampling). Lot 1: LOT 1 - Provision of Air Monitoring (Asbestos Project Management, Air Monitoring, & Clearance Air Testing) Experienced Analytical Air Monitoring Contractors are invited to submit tenders, to undertake asbestos monitoring, analytical support including general asbestos air monitoring, four-stage clearance procedures following asbestos removal works & emergency asbestos release response at various locations throughout Hull. Projects will typically include housing stock reduction schemes; demolition of corporate buildings, domestic housing & garages; refurbishment schemes; & various minor related works. Lot 2: LOT 2 - Provision of Removal of asbestos (Asbestos Abatement for Demolition, Refurbishment & Maintenance Projects) Experienced asbestos removal Contractors are invited to submit a tender, to undertake asbestos removal, asbestos encapsulation, environmental cleaning & associated works at various locations throughout Hull ahead of or in line with demolition, refurbishment & maintenance works taking place. Projects will typically include citywide housing stock reduction schemes; demolition of corporate buildings, domestic housing & garages; refurbishment schemes; & various minor asbestos removal works. Lot 3: LOT 3 - Provision of Surveying (Asbestos Management Surveys, Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys, and Bulk Sampling). Experienced Survey Contractors are invited to submit a tender, to undertake Asbestos Management Surveys, Asbestos Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys, Reinspection Surveys & individual Bulk Sampling, including analysis of all samples taken, as necessary at various locations throughout Hull ahead of or in line with demolition, refurbishment & maintenance works taking place as part of building acquisition, demolition, refurbishment and maintenance works.
