Provision of Legal Services for Hampshire Pension Services

Description

Hampshire Pension Services (HPS) has entered into a new contract for the provision of specialist legal support services to assist with the administration, governance and investment activities of the Hampshire Pension Fund. The contract ensures continued access to expert legal advice and drafting services to support the effective management of the Fund and compliance with the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) regulatory framework. The scope of the contract includes the preparation and finalisation of admission agreements for new employers joining the Fund, deeds of amendment relating to employer changes, investment management agreements, and the provision of ad hoc legal advice in relation to regulatory and policy developments affecting the LGPS. Services will be provided on an as-required basis, with instructions issued by Hampshire Pension Services. The contract has been awarded via a call-off under Lot 1 of the National LGPS Legal Services Framework 2023.
