The centre piece to this new Sligo Cultural Plaza will be a new feature canopy. The manufacture, delivery and installation of this feature canopy is the subject of this Pin notice. Sligo County Council wish to gauge interest from manufacturers and suppliers who have the technical merit and capabilities to deliver such a feature. Depending on the level of interest receive, a method of procurement will be determined at a later date and advertised accordingly. Coordination will be required with the main contractor as all structural (foundation), electrical and drainage requirements (i.e. all associated civil works external to the canopy) will be carried out by the main contractor. The budget for the manufacture, delivery and installation of the canopy is EUR 250 000. For more information about the feature canopy please refer to ‘Sligo Canopy_End of Scheme Report’. As part of the Sligo Cultural Plaza project, there is an amazing opportunity to fabricate and deliver a unique, memorable and iconic intervention in the centre of Sligo as part of the wider regeneration process.
