RCC Suirbhéir for Sale The Revenue Customs Cutter Suirbhéir (meaning "Surveyor") is a 23-metre customs cutter operated by the Irish Revenue Commissioners as a patrol vessel. Launched in June 2004, it was built by Finnish company, Uudenkaupungin Työvene and has a top speed of 25 knots (approx. 30 mph). Suirbhéir is built with aluminium construction. Suirbhéir has twin screw propellers powered by two 820kw Caterpillar 3412E Engines with Twin Disc Gearboxes. The vessel is fitted with a Hydraulic Generator and 34kw Mase Auxiliary Generator. The Cutter is also fitted with a shore supply connection. With 3 Fuel Tanks with a combined capacity to carry over 8,000 litres of fuel. The Cutter is also fitted with a bow thruster for excellent manoeuvrability. This Cutter was in active service till late 2025. The Cutter has a stern launch arrangement for launching and recovering RIB’s underway up to 6.2m in length. The accommodation has seven berths (1 single/3 twin cabins), a galley/mess, a shower room and separate Toilet. Two freshwater tanks have a capacity to hold over 600 litres of fresh water each. Suirbhéir currently holds a P5 Passenger Boat Licence, an Irish Load Line Certificate, and an International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate. Ideal for: Guard vessel duties, Charter Operators, Patrol Services, or discerning private entities seeking a professional-grade vessel.
