Description

CHIC is establishing a national (England and Wales) framework of service providers who can provide internal and external building works covering: 1) 'Whole life' services to multiple building elements including installation, replacement, refurbishment, improvement, maintenance and repair; 2) Installation, replacement, refurbishment, improvement, maintenance and repair of restricted mobility adaptations; and 3) Decorations including pre-decoration repairs. All current and future members of CHIC will have access to this framework as will the members of other consortia that join CHIC to access this and other frameworks. Whole life services including installation, replacement, refurbishment, improvement, maintenance and repair relating to internal and external building works comprising multiple building elements including (but not limited to): — attached and adjacent buildings including extensions, — bathrooms, — canopies, — decoration, — demolition, — doors, — electricity generation (photovoltaics), — electrics, — environmental improvements (internal and external), — fascias, soffits and bargeboards, — guttering and downpipes, — heating, — kitchens, — piling, — remodelling, — roofing (flat), — roofing (pitched), — wall insulation (internal and external). Whole life services including installation, replacement, refurbishment, improvement, maintenance and repair relating to internal and external building works comprising restricted mobility adaptations including (but not limited to) extensions, kitchens, bathrooms, ramps, grab rails and DDA compliance. Preparation for (and the application of) a range of decorative and/or protective surface finishes to internal and external surfaces. Internal surface finishes will be applied on a scale which ranges from individual rooms or dwellings to communal living schemes and commercial properties. External surface finishes will be applied on a scale which ranges from individual dwellings to communal living schemes and commercial properties. This lot also provides for the completion of all necessary pre-decoration repairs including (but not limited to) splicing or replacing defective timber sections in fascias, barge boards, soffits and external timber cladding; splicing or replacing defective timber components in windows and external doors; easing and adjusting ill-fitting timber windows and doors.
