CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF NHS HEALTH CHECKS - DATA PROCESSOR (INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF SOFTWARE SYSTEM)

Description

Blackpool Council requires a data processor provider to support delivery of the NHS Health Check Programme in Blackpool. We are looking for the provider to develop and manage a software system whereby patient identifiable data can be securely captured from GP systems (and other providers, as appropriate). This will be via a secure network connection and transferred to a secure environment. The data will need to be validated and suitably anonymised before production of records for Local Authority use; to allow for extensive reporting of performance, quality and effectiveness of delivery and outcomes of the NHS Health Checks programme. This can be delivered via an existing or bespoke system.
