Description
National Highways requires comprehensive access surveys of motorway service area electric charging provision, service areas on non-motorway trunk roads, and pedestrian facilities where construction or maintenance work is planned, underway or recently completed. This information is then to be made available to the travelling public via on-line access guides so disabled customers can plan their journeys on and across the National Highways network with confidence, identifying where routes, service areas and charging facilities meet their disability access requirements. The access guides should be accurately maintained and updated for the duration of the contract period.
