Hiring agreeement for a Xi Da Vinci operation robot

Description

Notification of a signed hiring agreement. Lot 1: The agreement is entered without a prior contest, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4, letter b, no. 2. The agreement includes the hire of 1 operation robot for minimally invasive advanced gynaecological, gastrointestinal, colorectal, urological and thoracic surgery. The robot is CE approved for all fields. The system has four motorised arms, which can be independently manoeuvred in several levels to perform minimally invasive multiquadrant surgery to meet the clinical need. The robot also meets the need for the following functions, which can be controlled directly from the surgeon console: - Integrated stacking with the possibility of greater mobility for safe and secure deposition of vital structures. - Integrated advanced bipolar energy for safe and efficient dissection and ligation of anatomical structures. - Integrated Intraoperative fluorescent imaging (ICG), for efficient visualization of circulation for the current anatomy. - Compatible with portable operating table for operational functionalities, in the form of redocking or adjusting the patient position during surgery. The patient table moves with the operating robot's arms, which reduces the operation time. These are technical functionalities, which at present can only be provided by Intuitive Surgical Sarl with Da Vinci Xi Console Systems. Bergen Hospital Trust considers that there is only one supplier that can accommodate this total delivery based on the market analysis performed.
