1.1 Tenants are central to all activity undertaken by Nottingham City Council Housing Services (NCCHS). To deliver services effectively, NCCHS maintains a framework agreement to support a range of planned and responsive maintenance activities. The overarching aim is to ensure a right first time, value for money, and tenant-satisfying response across all service areas. 1.2 Trade colleagues and engineers operate across the North, South, East, and West of Nottingham. Therefore, localised access to materials is essential to enable timely completion of works and maximise first-time fix rates. 2 Objectives 2.1 The primary objective of this framework is to secure a reliable supplier(s) for the provision of building materials to support housing maintenance. The supplier(s) must meet the following specific goals: • Ensure consistent availability of materials • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance • Deliver materials within agreed timelines • Support cost-effective procurement through competitive pricing • Align with SMART objectives where applicable • Support local and regional economic development where possible, through engagement with suitably qualified suppliers. • This Framework will play a key role in enabling the Authority to deliver its construction, maintenance, and infrastructure programmes efficiently and effectively over the next four years.
