This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being used to inform interested economic operators that Fingal County Council intends to go to tender for works and services associated with this project, including an architect lead single point design team, a quantity surveyor, a facilities management operator, an archaeologist and contractors associated with the construction project. Fingal County Council is to undertake the creation of Swords Cultural Quarter (SCQ) within Swords Town centre in proximity to County Hall and Swords Castle. The main elements will include: — Civic Space and Public Realm, — Swords Civic and Cultural Centre, — SCQ HUB Building. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being used to inform interested economic operators that Fingal County Council intends to go to tender for works and services associated with this project, including an architect lead single point design team, a quantity surveyor, a facilities management operator, an archaeologist and contractors associated with the construction project. Fingal County Council is to undertake the creation of Swords Cultural Quarter (SCQ) within Swords Town centre in proximity to County Hall and Swords Castle. The main elements will include: — Civic Space and Public Realm, — Swords Civic and Cultural Centre, — SCQ HUB Building. The Swords Civic and Cultural Centre will include a modern County Library facility to provide a neutral and inclusive space for learning and discovery for Swords and the greater Fingal area and a visual arts and community arts/performance space for Swords and its environs as a focus for culture and learning. The site is located within the zone of archaeological notification. The project timeline will run for approximately 6 years with the completion date of spring 2026. This is not a call for competition or invitation to tender. A call for competition may be placed within the next 12 months. No tender documents are available at this stage. Details of individual procurements pursuant to this notice will be advertised in due course on www.etenders.gov.ie ad in the Official Journal of the EU where required to do so. Fingal County Council does not require a response to this notice.
