Description

Carriageway resurfacing works. Resurfacing works. Drainage works. Installation of street furniture. Erection of fencing. Basildon Borough Council (the "Council") wishes to select a Contractor(s) for the provision and maintenance of various car parks surfaces, open spaces, private roads & footpaths and drainage works within the Borough. It will cover car parks, open spaces, carriageway and footway construction and resurfacing, reconstruction ducting, signing (street furniture installation) installation of dog bins, fencing, drainage and gully emptying. All ancillary works such as raising and replacement of all types of kerbing, drainage works and adjustment of ironwork will also be included along with any incidental earthworks. It will also cover the maintenance and emergency works for land drainage including grille and watercourse cleansing. Lot 1 - Surface Works, Highways, Footpaths, Drainage works Lot 2 - Installation of street furniture and bins Lot 3- Installation of fencing Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
