Project management services for the construction of the new Scottish Crannog Centre A suitably experienced and qualified firm of Project Managers is required to support the Charitable Trust (SCCT) in the construction of a new operational site including site infrastructure, a visitor centre and an Iron Age Village from the point of planning permission and building warrant to the the point of completion and sign-off by the architect. The key tasks and deliverables required will include, though are not limited to: Provide sufficient resources with the appropriate level of skills and expertise to deliver the project in line with the Trust's and its stakeholders' objectives. Work with the Design Team and Principal Contractor to manage the development through RIBA Stages 5, 6 and 7 (inclusive of the pre-construction planning period). In conjunction with the Design Team and Principal Contractor, advise SCCT on requirements for compliance with all relevant legislation e.g. Health & Safety, Equality. Close monitoring of progress and costs must be evaluated continuously and measured against set Daily; Weekly; Monthly targets. Any slippage in previously defined and agreed targets must be reported to the SCCT Board and addressed immediately. Undertake proactive Risk Management and maintain a Risk Register over the full life of the project. Prepare a Project Execution Plan and establish appropriate Project Controls including but not restricted to communication, meetings, reporting and progress updates, as required. Chair and minute formal monthly meetings throughout the full life of the project as well as any additional meetings required to deliver the full scope. Provide written monthly progress reports to the SCCT Board throughout the full life of the project. In conjunction with the Architect advise SCCT on requirements for compliance with all relevant legislation e.g. Health & Safety, Equality. Support SCCT in the procurement of a Main Contractor.
