The agreement will cover the full end-to-end process of removing the existing racking at NHS Bridgend Stores and supply, deliver, and install new heavy‑duty pushback pallet racking Lot 1: NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Supply Chain Division intends to award a contract to Whittan Industrial Limited for the dismantling of the existing pushback racking within the Bridgend Stores warehouse and the supply, delivery, and installation of new full‑width roller pushback racking. The project forms part of the planned optimisation of storage capacity at the site, with budget previously identified to support this work. The scope of the contract covers the complete end‑to‑end process, including dismantling, stacking, and banding the current racking for disposal by others, and the installation of two new blocks of pushback racking providing a combined capacity of 240 pallet positions. The works will include supply of all racking components, rollers, speed controllers, impact‑protection beams, shims, floor fixings, and weight‑loading signage, as detailed in the proposal’s specification.
