Magnetic resonance unit

Description

The MR machine at the clinic for picture diagnostics at St. Olavs Hospital HF is approaching End of Life and an upgrade thereof is required. The upgrade is expected to give 8-10 years extended lifetime at a considerably lower cost than a replacement. The components are proprietor and the upgrade can only be carried out by the existing supplier Siemens Healthcare AS. The service is therefore exempt from a competition, cf. the public procurement regulations §13-4 letter b no. 3. It has been decided that St.Olavs Hospital Health Trust shall procure the upgrading of 1 MR machine for the clinci for picture diagnostics. The machine is approaching End of Life and an upgrade thereof is required. The upgrade is expected to give 8-10 years extended lifetime at a considerably lower cost than a replacement.
